Philip Harry Mansell, Jr., Esq. was born and raised in Roswell, Ga. He attended The Lovett School and was a two time, individual, State Champion Wrestler. After high school, he graduated from Auburn University in 2006, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a focus in Public Administration.

While in college he was president of his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta. During his presidency his fraternity was awarded Fraternity of the Year and the Recruitment Award. His sister, Montine Mansell Zapf, was also the president of her sorority, it runs in the family. She is currently an emergency and critical care veterinarian in northern Virginia.
After college, Philip attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. During his tenure he competed in 3 National Mock Trial competitions.
He was afforded the opportunity to study Constitutional Law under, the late, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. He furthered his judicial career by interning with the Honorable Morris E. Braswell in the State Court of Clayton County.

Philip was admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia in 2009. He started his legal career as a Public Defender in the City of Roswell, under the Honorable Maurice H. Hilliard, Jr.
Philip has been the Managing Attorney at the Marr Law Firm since 2015. He is Married to Taylor Schlairet Mansell who is the Managing Bankruptcy Attorney at Shapiro Pendergast & Hasty. Philip and Taylor live in Roswell and have a beautiful and spunky daughter.

Philip enjoys spending time with his family. He runs the Peachtree Road Race every year with his mother (19 times and counting). He is a faithful Christian and is a member of Northbrook United Methodist Church. He loves to garden (you should try his salsa) and is dedicated to the city he loves.
